*BONDED- Need to be adopted together*

Delgado and my best bud Scooby are looking for a home. Now we’re what you call a bonded pair, but don’t let that deter you. You’ll never have to worry with us in your house…we keep each other company and we make each other a better dog. We’re both house broken and crate trained, and as affectionate as a doggy can be.

History:

The original owner that adopted them from shelter as puppies, had them for 4 years, then could no longer take care of them because she had a disabled son. She gave them to a family friend who kept them for a year then dumped them. They stayed together even in the streets. Neighbors didn’t want them there so they kicked, threw rocks and abused them. They scavenged for food and shelter. A concerned resident posted on Facebook to try to get them help.
My friend shared the post and my husband and I immediately ran and got them. They were nervous at first but jumped in our SUV and were very calm.

They had fleas and worms but we got them treatment so they are negative for both. They are loving boys who were so happy to be safe and warm. All they wanted was love and affection which they have shown us. We contacted the original owner because they are micro chipped, which is how we learned about their start in life. The original owners met up with us and said unfortunately they are unable to keep them. They paid for their vaccinations but we had discovered they were heart worm positive.

My husband and I paid for their treatment and took care of them through the process. They are now heart worm negative. In January 20020, they were given the injection of Proheart 12 which protects them from heart worm for a year!

Foster comments:
They are such wonderful and fun-loving dogs. They keep each other company, play well
together, they will play ball with each other and us. They alert us when strangers pass by our
enclosed fence which makes us happy because they caught a guy peering over our fence looking in our backyard. Delgado’s bark scared him off.
We took them camping and they had a great time riding in the truck and visiting new places.
Very well behaved. We walk them on a leash to our local park and they are very relaxed. Even
when another dog was barking at them, they just kept going. Delgado likes to sniff everything
(so cute).
